Chritina Aguilera's Bionic

How do you guys deal with pressure?

Apart from talking to someone when my mind is clouded, I cope by either eating or shopping. Today's meal included KFC's chicken wrap, indomee jawa with half a bottle of coke and a bar of Maltesers icecream. Oh yeah baby. All the adipose tissue came back to my bum now.

So I went to town yesterday and finally bought Christina Aguilera's new album - Bionic.

A Decade of Hits and Bionic

I've always been her fan since I can remember. Iatah one of my cita-cita ni. Unlike her, Joss Stone or say Gloria Gaynor, I am not gifted with a rich soul voice. I am not sure if practice is the solution to it. So anyway, the first few tracks on the album are say... quite naughty and raunchy - Not Myself Tonight, Woohoo, Elastic Love, Dennudate and Sex For Breakfast with my personal favourite intro for it, Morning Dessert!

There are other beautiful songs such as My Heart, I am and You Lost Me. ALTHOUGH Vanity is slowly becoming my favourite right now due to the funny cocky lyrics. HAHAH.

"Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the flyest b****h of all? Never mind I am. ... If I were her I would kiss me"

Ooh and I actually bought the Deluxe Edition so there's this fun cute song called Monday Morning. Wish I could've bought it on Sunday instead so I could've listened to it yesterday! Maybe on the day of my exam =o)

This is album is more fun and modern I would say. A lot of people may say that she keeps changing the style(?) of each of her albums. But c'mon, most of her songs are written by her, and so they should reflect on her life. First album was sort of forced for her to sing, Stripped exposed who she really was and her real personality. In Back to Basics she has found her true love, on the way to being a mother and now in Bionic she'll all happy and settled down in an amazing house, of course she has the rights to create a fun album! Of course not to forget one of her Latin album Mi Reflejo which displayed her roots.

My favourite album still continues to be Back to Basics though. I have all of her major albums but one - the first. I guess I could get it if murah rezeki in the future. For now, there are other important things to think about.

Anyway, this post is TOO LONG. I don't think anyone will even read this! But in any case, it's to show my luurrve for dear Christina. I look up to her. Plus I love her wardrobe of shoes!!

Shoe wardrobe, in her house ie ex-house of the Osbourne family.

YEZZZAAAAAA. Right now I'm staying at this studio aparment place thing called The Big Sleep. We were afraid that the place didn't have certain things we needed, but turns out, nearly everything is here =oD Ada kettle, fridge, a pot and pan, towels etc. Basically it's a really big room, complete with the TV area, dining area, sleeping area and a separate ensuite toilet [thumbs up] The toilet's quite huge too accompanied with a wide mirror! Haha sakai daaannng.

The dining area. Ignore the mess on the table, studying hard here =op

The open up kitchen cardboard. Awesommmmme.

Sleepy sleep area

TV areaaa. Haha "wide screen tv" kecil ah.

Oh right, forgot to mention why I'm here. So as to get some revision=o) Instead of going to London. So yeahhhr. Hahahha.

Wassalam.

Happy Monkey

HAPPY MONKEY ACAI AND POMAGRENATE drink is the awesomest drink I've ever had. Hahaha. (well there's Qoo Green Grape and Heaven and Earth Jasmine tea too) I used to pronounce acai as 'achai' but turned out you pronounce it as 'ah-sai-ee'. I first encountered this amazing thing in my first year in Chelt ladies at Waitrose. (waitrose is a grocery store that where we can undergo therapy cause it's just that awesome. hahaha basar and putih wah the place. just imaginnne Supa Save Beribi I guess). Being the weirdo I am possessed with at times, I saw this cute "Happy Monkey" drink to give it a try. Back at home, poured the purple liquid over chunks of ice and "aaahhhhhhhh~~~".

Well actually that's a lie. I went "hurrrggkkhhhh!!" masam! (ie sour) enden barutah "aaahhh~~" nyaman jua tu ah" hahahaha. so my face would have to look like this first:
but ofcourse hot lagi aku lah=op mwahahahahah.

Then later in my life (iyeah, macam batah saja udah ku hidup lapas minum ah) I saw this advertisement on facebook that acai berry can actually help you lose weight. [looks at self] Exen mu tu eh. Hahahaha. Anyway, I stopped drinking it for a while - since the drink costs pretty much. But these days I feel like splurging and macam taisliur. Think maybe it's a Spring thing.

Here's what I found from the happymonkeydrinks.com's fact about acai berry:

Açai is quite simply one of the healthiest and tastiest things you can drink.

It's a little purple berry from the Brazilian Amazon that's exceptionally good for you. Açai is a natural nutritional powerhouse, which when mixed into a fruit juice tastes like a blend of exotic berries with just a hint of chocolate. And it gets the thumbs-up from environmental groups as it promotes sustainability in the Amazon rainforest where it grows and is harvested.

So what are you waiting for? It's delicious, healthy and like nothing you've ever had before.

So yeahr. Next time you see this, give it a try [thumbs up]

Wassalam =oD

Did you see the new BADS production????

From Left: Hamiz, Anih, Mimi, Zuliana, Mr Syaf, A'aqiil, Faiq

BADS
- Brunei Amateurs Dramatic Society - returned with an astounding performance in The D'Anggerek Ladies Guild Dramatic Society Production of Macbeth. (Man, that's a mouthful) Not long after the tickets started to sell, they were really on demand that the Saturday tickets were actually sold out! Arsseeesooommme.

The action was performed in The D'Anggerek Hotel in (?) three show times:
April 17, 2009 - 8.00pm
April 18, 2009 - 4.00pm
April 18, 2009 - 8.00pm

Where students only had to pay $5 while normal tickets were $10. Privileged berabis jua students aniah.. Oh but as usual, food wasn't provided, iatah murah atu. Heehee. However they did have food being sold outside the hall so that's a plus. The fizzy drinks were cold too so that's worth the money. [thumbs up]

Well anyway, since I had to leave on Saturday to UK (huhuhu, aku home sick lah) my cousins - namely A'aqil, Faiq, Hamiz, my brother Anih and I went to watch the show on Friday night. Given that it was their first time perfoming this act infront of the audience, it was great =oD

Although I was quite confused of what was happening first, I slowly started to understand what was going on as the show proceded. Bengang kali ku ah, Ka Julie lagi pakai crutches. Haha I really thought she broke her leg! The booklet even had little section where they provided a little summary on Macbeth for the two acts to help remind us about the story. So anyway, the act consisted about 10 or less (?) actors doing different roles. They were mostly quite good in these roles... especially the laughters of the witches. HOMYGAWD, aku suka durang ketawa. Macam nyaman aniwahhh. Hahaha.

The production received a lot of good responses (good job guys!) and even went to the newspapers!! Horra! Congratulations to you guys. Keep it upp. I'm not sure if there are any bad comments about the show though. Ooh ooh, but I do know this, the place was quite warm.. some people were flapping the papers held in their hand ah. (macam arah panggilan. haha.) Think it was because the main aircond made noise, so it had to be switched off. HOWEVER, this didn't give that much effect to the audience, and we still had an effing great time [thumbs up] Haha.

Search for BADS on Facebook and you can find news on BADS from shutterspeech as well.

All in all, LOVED the show. So the next time you get the chance to go, why not give it a try?

Wassalam=o)

ps: hahaha cali jua my previous post. first email i sent to the wrong mail, so had to forward it. now it turned out funny. anyway, can try it again next time :p
