got my hair permed

Been ages since I wanted a wavy hair. FINALLY HAVE IT.

The process is basically, putting my hair into four sections, and in these four sections, they use the colourful foam rods (a long sponge thing with a wire inside) to curl my hair around them. At this point, I looked like a moose with colourful tanduk.

Then they put this ammonia smelling chemical on my hair, to break the bonds. After a quarter of an hour, she washes my hair and added the neutraliser which will make new bonds in my hair in the position it is in. And WALAH~ curly hair made. To be honest, when the rollers were removed, and my hair was still wet, I thought I looked like a poodle. Gila bida. Haha but now its satifactory=o) Not amazing pulang. Haha.

Thorpe Park Adventure

WE SPENT LAST WEDNESDAY, 29th JUNE waking up to an amazing weather, filled with laughter and adrenaline. Oh, and inorganic material commonly known as food.

And of course, the team was filled with thrill seekers of Chelt ladies, most of whom did not know what to expect from this amusement park.

Behold, the Lap Group, with their SHHHHHHH! t-shirt
(I tell you now. Hahaha. I've never had much of a liking of wearing the same shirt as everybody else. Especially if it's just soooo obvious. You see, HAHA I'm one of those people who despise and practically ucap2 them. So they should know how MUCH I love them to do this=op). We kept having people shushing us when the four of us were walking together. Most of the time we go like "wth, what did I do??" and barutah sadar baju kami ani SHHHHHH! Haha paluii.
The Elizabeth girls

And not to forget Beale and Cambray!!

Obviously there was so much waiting. It's good to be with friends, so that we can chit chat and share stupid lame jokes.
Of course, even though we were happy, actually we feel like this inside.

And there are people who just can't wait that long. Ling.... it's not a zoo...

But then came the rides..

And the food...

After lunch, we broke into groups. All in all the day was quite amazing eventhough Geraldine and I didn't go on much rides. I tell you now, si Zaz and Shin are TOTAL THRILL SEEKERS MAN. Haha I think they went on like, SIX roller coasters?? There was this really cool one which was a backward roller coaster in THE DARK. Haha I actually wanted to try that, tapikan, scardy-cat wahh (? cana kan tu spelling nya).

Ah well, so now we know that there are people who prefer to have that adrenaline rush and others don't. It's your preferance in life. You can't force that person feel what you feel. Unless you've never actually been on one, then you should give it a try juuust incase you're actually a crazy thrill-filled person. Me? I've been on a few shocking rides, and that's enough for me to imagine the feeling of pressure everytime you're pulled up, down and sides to sides even by just looking. I wonder if this is a sense of emphaty as well? Hmmm...

Looky what pictures I've got with people wearing my red/"orange" shades! Some I couldn't get on photos though...

Those are supposed to be lips btw. Hahaha.

The Amazing Apple

Ah, also, I had an amazing apple which reminded me of Fujii Apple - my favourite apple!! (Wow, I don't think I remember typing the word apple so many times in one sentence) The apple was crunchy, not sweet, and the skin was just right. HAHA.

Gone down to London

Hi=o)

JUST GOT BACK FROM LONDON yesterday - went down last Wednesday to Slough. There was a change in Reading to there though. Cheh, no direct train. Haha brought some past papers with me. That didn't work. Half way in doing a paper, I either got distracted by the TV (this was also the problem when we stayed at the hotel) or by my phone. Bang Wi and I went to a Halal Nando's in Slough... a WHOLE CHICKEN accompanied by chips. I ate 3/4 only. OKAYY?? No, it wasn't because I 'control', but more like... I don't like isi ayam (the breast bit etc) Heck, I don't even like chicken. Haha. If you're surprised by that then what you need to know is that I loooove fish, then comes lamb then beef then chicken. Sigh, I miss Mummy's Ikan Masak Merah and Masak Tau-chu (?). Obviously Bang Wi was tired, so he slept like around 6.30 pm? I was bored like hell plus I had no mood to study, so I went to check my email and opened up my subscriptions from ASOS and Topshop hence ended up looking at clothes and accessories to buy. However, this is the embarassing bit... Went to onemanga.com and read Ouran High School. Since I haven't read it for more than a year, I read till I finished the whole thing! (Like I said, when I start on a series, it's really hard to navigate away from it) This was from 7pm till 12.3oam okay. HAHA. I can't believe I did that!

And Bang Wi was sleeping so soundly. In the middle of the night I got super hungry and I was like "hellloooo? you're sister's hungryyy" hahaha but I didnt dare wake him up. He was tired kan. Anyway, at least helps to diet [thumb up]. THIS IS BAD BY THE WAY. DO NOT MAKE ME AN EXAMPLE.

Next day went shopping in Oxford Street. I got the YSL Radient Touch Highlighter in colour No.3. Wanted to get the green cream eyeshadow too! But my sain self kept nagging me and made me consider about how much it cost=op. Bought a cardi and a vintage looking sling bag from Urban Outfitters. I also got the kantongs, white dress and keropok udang from Mummy. Being the silly forgetful me, I came down with a small bag. So my journey back involved bringing one bag on each shoulder and one kantong on each hand.

OMG, I just remembered!! I wanted to take a picture with Bang Wi before balik! Damn.

Bang Wi's not the type to talk that much. Haha and he mumbles too. Our typical conversation goes:
Bang Wi: "Semmbrk boh nya?"
Mimi: "hah? what?"
Bang Wi: "Semrbak bau nya?"
Mimi: "Seme what?"
Bang Wi: "Semerbak bau nya?"
Then I realised there was a keling lady (no offense is intended here) standing next to me (I was sitting in a bus) and her armpit was next to me. HAHAHAHA. Palui wah abang ah.
Mimi: "Au sadang, now that you mentioned it-.-"
Enden ada lagi tu urang pasang earphone and lagu kaling kedengaran berabis. Had to stop myself from shaking my head to the beat =op Ah well. I love my brothers. who are each different. Us siblings show our love in a weird way. But that's another story.

I was greeted by my beloved friends when I arrived. Hahaha. Kiut. Apparently Geraldine had withdrawal symptoms. Kept pushing my door open and went "MIMIIII~!!" and I wasn't there. And Shin was all giddy and Zaz kept talking to me about The Science Festival -which is this week. I missed the Blood and Guts talk! Sigh.

Am back now, and ready to study. ...Since I have something to munch on now. Woohoo.

What I've found

GRAND WINNER OF THE ANIBOOM AWARDS 2008 - Sebastian's Voodoo by Joaquin Baldwin. It is just AMAZING. A little voodoo doll has to sacrifice himself to save his friend. Sedih ku. Actually found this video out from one of Ka Rina's blog =o) Thought I might share.

Sniff.

It's touching how even a voodoo doll that doesn't have a heart and a soul to actually think about sacrificing himself for others. Especially someone who he just met. How about us humans? We have what it doesn't have. And sometimes we are just so selfish to give up even the slightest thing. I've been trying to give up my time or things for others, but it kinda hurts when the person isn't appreciating what you've done. However the reason why we give up things isn't to expect something else in return (well, haha most of the time depending on the situation). It's all about being sincere. Even this sometimes people think I'm a bitch in disguise, or "ugh whatever, cheese much". Hahaha. Well anyway, whatever it is you're trying to give up, jangan ragu2 and menyasal.
.... I don't even know what I'm talking about. Let's just say, try to feel what the little voodoo kid up there is feeling. With no regrets=o)
